PROJECT OVERVIEW
Versa was approached by Bowmer & Kirkland to design and manufacture two different types of planters that were to be installed within the Copper Towers Student complex in Coventry. The site has an open courtyard at the rear of the complex which sits between the two towers and provides a leisure space for students.
Versa created two bespoke products to accommodate the needs of the client. The bulk of the project consisted of wall planters that bordered the courtyard and provided a privacy wall for the student room based on the ground floor. Versa also created two large tapered free-standing planters, large enough to support tree growth which stood in the centre of the courtyard. Both products were powder coated in RAL 7016(anthracite grey) to compliment the surrounding colours that are used in the complex.
In addition to the products, Versa also supplied and installed 14 Enigma Cycle Stands in a single run. The contemporary-looking Enigma comprises of powder-coated steel and iroko hardwood.
